We process your information exclusively for:
- Automation: Using AI/OCR to extract data from your receipts for bookkeeping purposes.
- Compliance: Helping you meet the requirements of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and the Ministry of Revenues.
- Communication: Sending updates about your account, security alerts, and service improvements.
- Security: Preventing fraud and unauthorized access to financial records.
4. DATA SECURITY AND STORAGE

- Accountant Access: If you are a Merchant, your data is only shared with the Certified Accountant you have explicitly authorized on the platform.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties or advertisers.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by Ethiopian law or a valid government request (e.g., tax audits).
6. USER RIGHTS (YOUR CONTROL)
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about your business.
- Correction: Edit or update any inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request the deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements for tax records).
- Revocation: Terminate the link between a Merchant and an Accountant at any time.

We retain financial records for as long as your account is active or as required by Ethiopian tax regulations (typically 10 years for VAT-related documents).
